Keep Your Braces A Secret

Raynesway specialist orthodontic and dental practice is one of only a handful of practices in the UK to hold the prestigious Invisalign Diamond status. This ranking means we are highly experienced, have achieved amazing results and can provide you with exceptional care. If you have been refused Invisalign treatment previously please get in touch because as an Invisalign Diamond Specialist, we may be able to achieve outcomes that other Invisalign providers just can’t.

Invisalign is an incredible, virtually invisible system that straightens your teeth, using a series of almost ‘invisible’, custom fit aligners, or removable mouth trays, to straighten your teeth without the need for metal braces.

The clear aligners are constructed using state-of-the art computer imaging technology, which is the most advanced of its kind. The aligners are removable, so you can brush your teeth, drink and eat as normal, and remove them for the occasional night out.

Invisalign aligners are incredibly comfortable and with no metal brackets there is less chance of abrasions or damage being caused to teeth and this means less time spent at the dentist getting adjustments.

It is a popular choice with our patients from across Derby, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and the West Midlands.

  • Invisalign clear aligners at Raynesway specialist orthodontic and dental practice in Derby are quick, easy, comfortable and virtually invisible.
  • Invisalign uses laser scanning to build customised, removable aligners that comfortably move the teeth to the desired position.
  • Invisalign aligners are suitable for adults and teenagers who want to keep their brace a secret.

Invisalign Teen is ideal for teenagers who would prefer not to wear metal braces. They are especially useful if you play a musical instrument or would like to remove your appliance for contact sports or occasional socialising.

Raynesway Dental also provide single arch treatments for Invisalign. Our Invisalign expert, John Serrano-Davey can now provide such an approach with Invisalign clear aligners on your top teeth and a fixed metal or ceramic brace on the bottom.

Invisalign Wedding

  • “Thank you so much for all your support during my Invisalign journey. You’ve all been so lovely and have kept me entertained with your stories.”

    - Sandra

I am thrilled with the results and am so much happier for people to see my smile. I would go so far to say that John has even bettered his prediction of how my teeth would look. No-one ever used to know I was wearing my Invisalign brace and although it feels a bit alien and uncomfortable at first, once you get past the first week it just becomes a normal part of your daily routine.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

The total treatment time can range from 10 to 20 months, according to each individual’s treatment plan.

Is Invisalign suitable for everyone?

Invisalign is suitable for most adults and teenagers with relatively minor dental misalignments or crowding.

How often will I need a new aligner?

Each aligner is worn for between 1 to 2 weeks and removed only to drink, eat, brush, and floss. Each tray is designed to apply a steady amount of force to the teeth, enabling them to move into place little by little, week by week, until they are straightened to the position prescribed by dentists at Raynesway. Patients usually visit the practice every four to six weeks to ensure treatment is progressing as planned.

What happens next?

If you decide to go ahead, we will invite you back for a records appointment where you will have silicone moulds, study models made and x-rays undertaken. This is a 45-minute appointment and costs £395.
